A cordless impact wrench is essentially the same thing with the battery impact wrench. In order to work, the cordless impact wrench needs a recharging battery. So it can be used for a limited period of time. To use it again, you will have to wait until the battery is recharging. The benefit of working with a cordless impact wrench is that you can use it where you want, even if there isn’t any power supply. There aren’t any cords to annoy you. So you will work in a safer environment. If you have to, you will be able to work in confined spaces. But the battery impact wrench can weight more than a pneumatic impact wrench and it can be less powerful than the pneumatic impact wrench.
If you don’t know if the corded impact wrench or the battery powered impact gun is better, you just need to consider what advantages is offering each one of them. You will have to think at what kind of tasks you will use the impact wrench. Let’s say you are an automobile mechanic that is offering mobile services. One of your clients might ask you to repair his car, positioned somewhere where there isn’t any power source. In this case, a corded impact wrench will not be any good. Instead, the cordless impact wrench is offering portability. It is also true that you will not be able to use it for a larger period of time, because eventually the battery will need to be recharged.
The battery impact gun is probably the most powerful wrench from the cordless ones. But it is also bigger, so you will not be able to use it in confined spaces. There are some new released designs of cordless impact wrenches, which offer LED light, just in case you have to work in confined spaces.
